Well, it has been a long time since my last post. A lot of decisions are being made about Pecan Acres Pets. First, we have not had a vacation since 2003. Guess what???? It's time... So, we are cutting back on our breeders quite a bit. We are selling a trio of Blue Crowned Conures (yes, like the bird in the movie Paulie), most of our African Greys and most of our Quaker Parrots. It is a big decision, but one that has to be made.

SUMMER
Well, it looks like Summer is about to join us. Is everyone ready? Don't know if I am prepared for the humidity. Too much to do outside and not enough cool breeze. But, the Greys are happy and the Quakers are happy. What more could we ask for. Other than the Copperhead issue all is well.
I think that if we had not seen it when we did, the outcome could have been a bit worse. But again, all is well.

Today is starting the decision making about Pecan Acres Pets. I am thing that it is time to let someone else take over. Perhaps the right bird person will read this and contact me. We have 17 pairs of Greys and 2 extra retired male breeders. There are also about 75 pairs or so of various color Quakers. 2 pairs of Blue Crown Conures and 1 pair of Patagonian Conures. Prices can be worked out. Along with the birds will come the domain name and website....(WordPress). Any interest, please contact me.
